The rise of sophisticated accounting and project management apps over the past decade has made setting up a firm virtually the go-to type of setup for bookkeepers. While virtual firm setups provide many advantages to clients, employees, and the owner(s), they also present unique challenges when it comes to management and operations.   

In this session, we will delve deeper into these management issues using real-life examples shared by a practicing accountant who previously owned and operated two virtual bookkeeping firms. Session attendees are encouraged to participate in the presentation as the format will be interactive.

By the end of this session, attendees should have better awareness of the internal and external management issues that are inherent in virtual bookkeeping firm setups, along with a realistic plan-of-attack for circumventing these issues.
