Rick Johal has been the CEO of CPB Canada for just over three years. Before that, he held leadership roles in several associations and has a long track record working in public policy and government relations. Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McMaster University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 2019, he earned the CAE (Certified Association Executive) designation and has completed the Ivey Academy leadership program at Western University, the Diversity and Inclusion certificate at Cornell University, and most recently, the Driving Non-Profit Performance and Innovation Program at the Harvard Kennedy School for Executive Education.

When time permits, Rick enjoys spending time with his family, listening to podcasts, and staying active by playing a few sports.
