IGNITE 2022 Conference - Request for Proposals
Do you like to motivate others? Are you highly experienced in your field? Do you thrive when public speaking? CPB Canada invites you to submit a proposal to present at our 2022 Ignite Annual Conference. Please review the details below and submit your proposal for consideration.
Reminder: this call out for proposals does not seek any sponsored content. A separate opportunity will be available to interested sponsors via our distribution of the CPB Canada Prospectus over the months ahead.
The deadline is February 28, 2022 at 11:30 PM (EST)!
The Conference is set for September 21-23rd, 2022, in Calgary, Alberta. The Conference offers bookkeepers and accounting professionals an opportunity to collaborate, network, share successes and lessons learned while educating themselves in the critical aspects of their professional practice.
As a national certifying body, CPB Canada and its delegates use this unique experience to connect with peers, experts, and thought leaders from across Canada.
The Conference will be in person. However, decisions remain pending on whether consideration is given to recording sessions and allowing hybrid participation.
Speaker topics for keynotes, sessions & workshops included but are not limited to:

- Operating Small to Medium Businesses
- Innovations, Best Practices & Strategies
- Leadership/Team Building
What to expect when speaking at the Ignite 2022 Conference!
- Majority of sessions 60 minutes (45 minutes content; 15 minutes Q&A)
- A handful at 90 minutes
- Keynotes 300 +
- Sessions/Workshop 50-100
The association is not compensating breakout session speakers for their presentations at our Conference via honorariums or speaker fees. In place of this, speakers will have a donation made on their behalf to the selected conference charity. If you require an exception, they may be considered on a case-by-case basis. A maximum of 3 speakers per proposal is in effect.
