Request for Proposals - IGNITE 2023 Conference

Do you like to motivate others? Are you highly experienced in your field? Do you thrive when public speaking?

If so, CPB Canada invites you to submit a proposal to present at our 2023 IGNITE Annual Conference.

Please review the details below and submit your proposal early for consideration.

Reminder:  this call out for proposals does not seek any sponsored content. A separate opportunity will be available to interested sponsors via our distribution of the CPB Canada Prospectus over the months ahead.

The deadline is January 13, 2023 at 11:30 PM (EST)!

Conference Details

The Conference is set for September 19-22, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario.

The IGNITE Conference offers bookkeepers and accountants the opportunity to collaborate, network, and share successes while educating themselves in the critical aspects of their professional practice.

As a national certifying body, CPB Canada members will acquire their continuing professional development (CPD) credits and connect with peers, experts, and thought leaders from across Canada.

IGNITE 2023 is expected to be planned as a hybrid conference with in-person and virtual participation. This decision will be confirmed early in 2023.

  • Operating Small to Medium Businesses
  • Innovations, Best Practices & Strategies
  • Leadership/Team Building

What to expect when speaking at the IGNITE 2023 Conference!

Presentation Length:

  • Majority of sessions 60 minutes (45 minutes content; 15 minutes Q&A)
  • A handful of 75 or 90 minute sessions
  • There is potential for several pre-conference workshops

Audience Size:

  • Keynotes 400 +
  • Sessions/Workshops 50-100

Speaker Considerations:

The association is not compensating breakout session speakers for their presentations via honorariums or speaker fees.

In place of this, speakers will have a donation made on their behalf to the selected conference charity. If you require an exception, they may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
