Shaun Boothe is an award-winning hip-hop artist, TEDx speaker, and creator of ‘The Unauthorized Biography Series’. The Unauthorized Biography Series is a critically acclaimed musical project that celebrates the world’s greatest cultural icons through biographical rap songs – Repackaging History through Hip-Hop. Each chapter of the series captures the legacy of an influential iconic figure in a documentary-style music video. Icons featured in the series include Bob Marley, Muhammad Ali, Malala Yousafzai, Terry Fox, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama, and more.

After spending 10+ years in the music industry, sharing stages with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Lauryn Hill, and Kendrick Lamar, a search for a more purposeful path led Shaun to the lecture circuit. It was here where he discovered how his Unauthorized Biography Series, combined with his passion for speaking, could be used as a powerful tool to both entertain and inspire others to achieve their own greatness. A few short years later, this new direction has grown into a thriving international career as an inspirational speaker and performing artist in middle schools, high schools, college campuses, corporations, associations, and performing arts centers alike.

Val was an active member of the Sigma Chi fraternity where he served as Treasurer. After college, he worked for Deloitte Haskins and Sells of Salt Lake City, Utah, and then with Hansen, Steed, Bradshaw & Malmrose P.C. of Salt Lake City. Val was with Hansen, Steed, Bradshaw & Malmrose P.C. for twelve years and was a shareholder for six years before leaving to start K2 Enterprises. Currently, Val is the Director Accountants for Zoho Corporation. He has twelve years’ experience in public practice and has been involved with the accounting technology industry since 1985.

Prior to entering public service, Stephen served in senior leadership and executive roles in the investment industry over the past 20 years.

Stephen resides in Oakville, Ontario, where he lives with his wife Najia. Stephen is blessed to be the father of two sets of identical twin girls. Stephen is very engaged in the Oakville community. He is a member of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce, 100 Guys Who Care-Oakville, and the Royal Canadian Military Institute.

Stephanie (Steph) graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2004 with a Bachelor of Management and started working with a national mid-size CPA firm in Central Alberta in 2004. She obtained her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2009 and in October 2011 she transferred up to the Leduc office to continue with her career working with private enterprises including farms within the Leduc and surrounding area. Steph assisted her clients with personal and corporate taxes, preparation of financial statements, farm income programs such as AgriStability and AgriInvest, corporate tax re-organizations, data entry and tax questions, discussions with clients on major capital additions and tax planning.

Having grown up on a grain farm in northern Alberta she has always had a passion for working with agriculture clients and while not a farmer herself, she is still involved in the bookkeeping side of the family farm. After 18 years of working at the national mid-size accounting, business consulting and tax services CPA firm Stephanie joined the KBS team in August 2022 and is looking forward to the new adventure that lies ahead, building a CPA firm!

When not in the office she enjoys traveling, gardening, spending time with her nieces and nephews and trying out new recipes.
